A rear extension and full renovation of a family house in Acton. The extension is built around an exposed green steel frame with a timber roof, finished outside with a sedum roof.
Inside, the extension houses a new kitchen with black cabinets under the timber ceiling, and the rest of the house was fully renovated, including a marble walk-in shower and a botanical-papered cloakroom.
Exposed structure leaves no room to hide anything: steel, timber and junctions are detailed and finished to be seen, which takes careful setting out from the groundworks up.
