Inside, exposed London stock brick and a polished concrete floor set the tone, and a new kitchen with a marble-wrapped island opens straight onto the garden.
Glass roofs and exposed brick are unforgiving: the steelwork, glazing and brickwork have to be set out accurately and protected throughout the build so they finish clean.
