Extension, garden studio and renovation in Hampton, TW12
A rear extension, garden outbuilding and renovation of a period house in Hampton.
The garden building includes its own shower room. In the main house we fitted a new kitchen and bathrooms, and restored and repaired the timber sash windows.
Period houses need materials that let old walls breathe. Here we used lime render and wood-fibre insulation, which work with the original construction rather than trapping moisture in it.
