Rear extension and renovation in Barnes, SW13

Extension and renovation of a family home in Barnes.

The extension houses a new kitchen with a navy island and wine fridge, and box-frame glazing with steel-framed doors opens the kitchen to the garden.

Box-frame glazing is a design feature as much as a window, so the structural opening, frame and internal finishes were detailed together to give a clean edge inside and out.
